Classic Pea Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
3 cups frozen peas, thawed (do not cook)
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, diced or shredded
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Thaw peas: Rinse under cold water to quickly thaw and drain well.
2. Mix dressing: In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, and vinegar (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
3. Combine: In a large bowl, mix peas, onion, cheese, and bacon. Pour in the dressing and toss until evenly coated.
4. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
